1 എൻ കർത്താവെ നിൻ കരങ്ങൾ നിർമ്മിച്ച
 ലോകമെല്ലാം എൻ കൺകൾ കാൺകയിൽ
 ഇടിമിന്നൽ താരാഗണങ്ങൾ കണ്ടാൽ
 എൻ ദൈവം നീ എത്ര ഉന്നതൻ

പാടും എന്നും എന്നുള്ളം ദൈവമേ
തുല്യമില്ലാ ഉന്നതൻ നീ (2)

2 കാട്ടിലൂടെ ഞാൻ അലഞ്ഞുതിരിഞ്ഞു
പക്ഷികളിൻ മൃദുസ്വരം കേട്ടു
വാഹിനികൾ ഒഴുകും ശബ്ദം കേട്ടു 
തെന്നലിൽ ഞാൻ നിൻ ശക്തി കാൺകയിൽ;-

3 തൻ സൂനുവേ അദരിയാതെ ദൈവം
ശാപമാക്കിയേ ദൈവപുത്രനെ
വൻ ക്രൂശിൽ തൻ പുണ്യാഹ രക്തം ചിന്തീ
എൻ മഹാപാപ ഭാരം നീക്കിയേ;-

4 യേശു വരും വിജയാരവത്തോടെ
വാനത്തിൽ എന്നെ ചേർത്തുകൊള്ളുമ്പോൾ
അനന്ദത്തിൻ കണ്ണീർ കണങ്ങൾ വീഴ്ത്തി
ആരാധിച്ചീടും പൊന്നുനാഥനെ;-

O Lord, my God when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the works Thy hands have made
I see the stars I hear the rolling thunder
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.

Then sings my soul my Savior God to Thee
 How great Thou art!  How great Thou art!(2)

When through the woods and forest glades I wander
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees
When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur
And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze

And when I think that God, His Son not sparing,
Sent Him to die,  I scarce can take it in.
That on the cross, My burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.

When Christ shall come, With shouts of acclamation,
And take me home,  What joy shall fill my heart!
Then I shall bow in humble adoration
And there proclaim, “My God, how great Thou art!”
